Glee: The 3D Concert Movie is a Glee 3D movie released in theaters on August 12, 2011. It will be released on DVD (under the same title with different content) sometime soon. The entire movie/DVD is Glee Live! In Concert! at East Rutherford, New Jersey, as well as a bit of fan content.

It stays (mostly) true to the show. However, the movie version has Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss) singing with New Directions when the Warblers are finished doing their numbers. However, some of the content is circulated around the fans with extraordinary stories.

[edit] Movie Content

In the movie/theater version of Glee: The 3D Concert, young Glee fans are encouraged to be themselves and tell their stories. This movie showed the fans waiting outside to get into the theater, as well as stories by them, and their opinions on various characters from the hit TV show.

Three special fans - a young, female dwarf, a young gay male, and a young woman suffering from Asperger's Syndrome, a social disorder.
