[edit] Winners/Runner Ups

At the end of season one of The Glee Project, the audience was sent a surprise with the winners! Originally the results of the show were to award one winner a seven-show appearance in Glee. Ryan Murphy enjoyed the final four, Alex Newell, Samuel Larsen, Lindsay Pearce and Damian McGinty Jr., so much that he awarded them all a win!

The two runner ups, Lindsay Pearce and Alex Newell, were awarded a two-episode appearance on Glee instead of the initial no prize.

The two winners of the show - yes, two winners - were awarded the original prize of an seven-episode appearance. Ryan Murphy liked both Damien and Samuel so much that he felt they both needed the win.

[edit] Fan Favorite

As announced, Glee Fans were able to vote for their favorite contender on the show in hopes of awarding their favorite contendor a prize of 10,000 dollars. In the end, Cameron Mitchell, a contendor who quit the competition due to personal beliefs, was awarded the prize.
